Michael Chabon, Anne Rice, Amy Tan, and Richard Ford were among the students of Oakley Hall, a renowned writing instructor. WARLOCK, his most famous work, was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and was adapted into a film starring Henry Fonda and Anthony Quinn. Hall was a Marine in World War II and received lifetime achievement honors from the PEN American Center and the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
